Ak muddat sy mare soch ka mahvr tm ho
Ak mudat sy mare zaat ky andar tm ho
Main tary pyar ky sahil pe khari hoon tanha
Mare ulfat mari chahat ka smandar tm ho

Mohabbato me jeene wale khusnashib hote hai,
Mohabbato me marane wale ajeeb hote hai,
Ajeeb hai hamari dosta jaaneman,
Faaslo pe rahate hai lekin fir bhi kareeb hai

Bara dushwar hota he zara sa faisla karna
Jeewan ki kahani ho bayan-e-bezabani ko
Kahan se yad rakhna he kahan se bhool jana he
Kisi ko kitna batana he kisi se kitna chupana he
Kahan awaz deni he kahan se laut ana he
Kahan hans hans k rona he kahan ro ro k hansna he
Kahan khamosh rehna he bara dushwar hota he
zara sa faisla karna
