Valentine Smile
On Valentine’s Day we think of those
Who make our lives worthwhile,
Those gracious, friendly people who
We think of with a smile.
I am fortunate to know you,
That’s why I want to say,
To a rare and special person:
Happy Valentine’s Day!

Valentine Gift
On Valentine’s Day,
I’m thinking about
the special ways
you have made my life better,
the little things,
the not-so-little things…
your kindness,
the way you always listen
and pay attention to me.
You make my world
brighter and richer.
You’re a gift to me,
and I thank you
for being you.

A Red Red Rose
O my Luve’s like a red, red rose
That’s newly sprung in June;
O my Luve’s like the melodie
That’s sweetly played in tune.
As fair art thou, my bonnie lass,
So deep in luve am I;
And I will luve thee still, my dear,
Till a’ the seas gang dry:
Till a’ the seas gang dry, my dear,
And the rocks melt wi’ the sun;
I will luve thee still, my dear,
While the sands o’ life shall run.
And fare thee weel, my only Luve,
And fare thee weel awhile!
And I will come again, my Luve,
Tho’ it ware ten thousand mile.

My Special Valentine
When I first saw you,
I noticed your beautiful smile,
I really wanted to talk to you,
But I knew it would take a while.
Then that day finally happened,
And you came into my life,
And I was so very proud,
When you made me your wife.
The years have been so happy,
We have so much to share,
And that is why I do know,
How much you really care.
So you are my special Valentine,
And I hope I’m yours too,
But just remember one thing,
I’m in love with you!
Happy Valentine’s Day!

My Perfect Valentine
Observing the stars,
You came into mind,
I thought about your love for me,
It’s so fine.
Whenever you hug me,
Whenever you’re there,
I feel so secure,
I know you really care.
At times we’re together,
Not knowing what to say,
All we do is hold hands,
Then our love lights the way.
There are instances we argue,
But time’s granted to ponder,
Then we work things out,
It makes our love stronger.
I’ve nothing to worry about,
Gone are moments, I thought we’d part,
Thinking of you makes me smile,
You’ll forever be in my heart.

Valentine Memories
Grandma’s book of valentines
Rekindles memory’s flame,
Of days when she was just a girl
And life a happy game.
Each lace-edged card a getting bears
From friends of long ago,
Girls in gingham dresses
And that “special” Sunday beau.
It brings a twinkle to her eye,
Dissolving lines of age,
As we sit in the lamplight
And turn each well worn page.
It makes me kind of wonder
f perhaps some distant day,
A grandchild shall sit at my side
And leaf each page this way.
Cause I could sit for hours,
There at my grandma’s knee,
And listen to the stories
That the valentines set free.
A book of antique valentines
That reaches black in time
To tell the tales of yesteryear
In illustrated rhyme.

I Want to be Your Valentine..
Oh precious oh precious please be mine
I want to be your Valentine
I’ll do anything to be your rose
I want to be the Valentine you chose
Hold my hand and don’t let go
Open your heart and feel our love grow
Lock me in your heart just for a day
Feeling your love while reality fades away
I’ll wait year after year
Crying and sobbing tear after tear
Oh precious oh precious please be mine
I want to be your Valentine!

5 Little Valentines
Five little valentines were having a race
The first little valentine was frilly with lace.
The second little valentine had a funny face.
The third little valentine said, “I love you”.
The fourth little valentine said, “I do too”.
The fifth little valentine was sly as a fox.
He ran the fastest to the valentine box.

Through all the changes
in my life, your love
has remained
constant and unconditional.
Though at times
you may have questioned,
worried or wondered…
you never stopped loving me.
On this day of love
I want you to know how very much that means.
You who have loved me first,
love me best.
Thank you for all the love you’ve shared.
Happy Valentine’s Day

Year Round Valentine
I love you all through February,
Not just on Valentine’s Day;
I cherish you when flowers of spring
Appear in the midst of May.
I adore you in the summer,
When the air is filled with heat;
Without you in my life each day,
I wouldn’t be complete.
I treasure you in fall,
When leaves are turning gold;
I loved you when you were younger;
I’ll love you when you’re old.
I prize you in the winter,
When colder days are here;
I love you, love you all the time,
Every minute of the year.
So I’ll give to you this Valentine,
But I want to let you know,
It’s not just today, but always,
That I will love you so.

A Valentine to My Wife
Accept, dear girl, this little token,
And if between the lines you seek,
You’ll find the love I’ve often spoken
The love my dying lips shall speak.
Our little ones are making merry
O’er am’rous ditties rhymed in jest,
But in these words (though awkwardvery)
The genuine article’s expressed.
You are as fair and sweet and tender,
Dear brown-eyed little sweetheart mine,
As when, a callow youth and slender,
I asked to be your Valentine.
What though these years of ours be fleeting?
What though the years of youth be flown?
I’ll mock old Tempus with repeating,
“I love my love and her alone!”
And when I fall before his reaping,
And when my stuttering speech is dumb,
Think not my love is dead or sleeping,
But that it waits for you to come.
So take, dear love, this little token,
And if there speaks in any line
The sentiment I’d fain have spoken,
Say, will you kiss your Valentine?

My Valentine
I crave your honesty on this day of love,
L ove you whole-heartedly my sweet dove.
O ut of the blue you shot from the sky,
V ividly, beautifully stunning my eye.
E ver adoring you is what I do best,
Y our smile, your face and all the rest.
O n days like these I truly believe,
U and I are meant to be!
